Food4Kids Waterloo Region is looking for a permanent Executive Director to lead the organization through its next phase of development. The organization is completing a year of transition led by an interim Executive Director. During this time the organization has strengthened its governance, nurtured its small but mighty staff team, and rebuilt relations with its key partners. We now look forward to bringing on a permanent leader, either a current or aspiring leader, for our next phase of development. Key requirements and attributes of this permanent role include:

• Leadership skills and experience in the areas of program management and delivery, financial management, community relations and advocacy, marketing and communications, and staff supervision are typically acquired through a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Strong preference for experience working with a non-profit board of directors and the organizational stakeholders, including the critical role played by its volunteers.
• Strong preference for demonstrated fundraising experience, preferably in the not-for-profit world, including planning, implementing, and stewarding the donors and supporters of the organization.
• University degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a full-time onsite position offering a competitive compensation package.  The salary range for the position is $100,000 to $110,000 based on a 37.5-hour work week.
