About the Role
Food4Kids Waterloo Region is seeking a dynamic Community Development
Manager to lead community engagement and fundraising initiatives. Working
closely with the Executive Director, you will build strategic relationships,
advocate for our mission, and connect families to essential resources.
Key
Responsibilities
•
Develop and execute donor and partner engagement
strategies
•
Lead planning and delivery of the organization’s
signature fundraising event
•
Support third-party fundraising initiatives
•
Manage and grow a portfolio of donors
•
Create marketing materials for campaigns and events
•
Enhance community outreach through presentations and
social media
•
Identify and apply for grant opportunities
Qualifications
& Skills
•
Positive, collaborative mindset with a proactive
approach
•
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•
Proven ability to build lasting relationships with
diverse stakeholders
•
Strong project and time management skills
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and
digital tools
•
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
•
Experience in fundraising or community development,
preferably in the non-profit sector
Additional
Information
This role involves both office and field work. Evening and weekend
availability, a valid driver’s license, and access to a personal vehicle are
required.
